However, before we go into these routine treatments, let’s briefly consider what Acne is, its symptoms, and the possible causes. Take a seat, let’s take you through this journey.
Acne is a very common skin issue where the skin pores get blocked by bacteria, hair, dead skin cells, or oily substances called sebum. Consequently, these blockages will then lead to different types of pimples like blackheads, whiteheads, nodules, cysts, papules, pustules, etc.
Although acne doesn’t pose serious risks to our health, still, it can be very painful or even lead to pigmentation or scarring in severe cases. Additionally, apart from the pain, it can also lead to high self-consciousness, depression, low self-esteem, anxiety, and emotional stress.
However, if you see yourself in this situation. Please stop worrying so much. Bear in mind that acne is completely treatable. And guess what? You can get your flawless skin back if you follow through with the routine in this article.
Acne can come in different forms of pimples. They are as follows.
They form blackish bumps filled with dead skin and excess oil at the surface of the skin. Their dark appearance is from the discoloration of the sebum caused by oxygen in the air.
Forms under the surface of the skin with excess oil and dead skin. They usually take the color of the skin.
These are large and solid pimples formed deep in your skin. They are quite painful.
They are small red bumps caused by the inflammation of the hair follicles.
Just like nodules, they are usually large and painful. They contain pus and form underneath the skin.
Most times, acne is caused when the skin pores become blocked by excess oil, bacteria, or dead skin. This phenomenon is driven by a hormone called androgen.
This hormone normally becomes active during the teenage or puberty years. Acne can also occur when the follicle which is made up of hair and sebaceous gland produces more oil than needed.
In some cases,e air pollution and certain weather conditions can also trigger acne. In women, acne can also occur during menstruation due to hormonal fluctuations. Other possible factors include genetics, stress, and using heavy oily skin care products can also lead to acne. Sometimes, it might be reactions to a specific medication.
You may notice breakouts of pimples around your face, neck, shoulders, back, and chest.
You may also experience dark patches and skin discoloration.
Possible pain, inflammation, tenderness, and swollen skin.
Now, we highly discourage popping, squeezing, or picking on your pimples as they might increase your chances of developing scars or even attracting bacteria.
Okay, let’s get back to how we treated our clients. Read and learn!
Now, in our client’s case, she had severe acne with scarring and acne. So, the first thing we did was to conduct Acne Chemical Peeling on her skin. And also, get her ready her skin ready for the routine and the products she was going to use after 24 hours.
After the chemical peeling, we gave her Our Bad Acne Kit with the following routine instructions.
Wash your face with the Bleach Soap for proper face cleansing
Apply the Bleach Toner to ensure further cleansing and proper balance.
Apply Sunblock SPF50 (Regular) before leaving every day, regardless of the weather. Although, the SPF50 is not included in the Acne Kit. Still, we advised her to buy it separately and use it as instructed.
Wash and cleanse your face with the Bleach Soap to remove dirt.
Apply Bleach Toner for further cleansing and balance.
Apply the Bleach Cream Forte. We advised her to only apply a thin layer as the product is very active.
Apply Shoval A Forte to renew and reconstruct the skin tissues.
For the final touch, apply Anti Acne to remove bacterial growth, blemishes, spots, or scars. Now, because some people are allergic to sulfur, we have two (2) options: Anti-acne with sulfur and Anti-acne without sulfur.
Towards the tail end of her routine treatment, she started noticing a significant transformation of her skin and she was happy with the end result. However, please note that this product and routine treatments are products of our vast years of experience in the skincare industry.
So, you’d be sure to get the best results if you follow through.
